I had an amazing time at the third Indie Horror Chapter book con, this one held in sunny Weston-Super-Mare! It was a glorious day and the venue was packed with avid readers and uber-friendly authors. So much talent in one room!
I reconnected with readers of old, which is always lovely, but also met some guys for the first time - many of them having never been to a con before. There were plenty of engaging chats and discussions, and as social media will testify, everyone had a great time.
The organisers of Indie Horror Chapter, led by the force of nature that is Trish Wilson, did a fantastic job all round. There were competitions, Q and A, break-out spaces for readers, and also an appearance by Spunky the Ghost!
Rumour has it Indie Horror Chapter is heading north next time, so look out for details. Get in their Facebook page, if you aren’t already!
